Artwork Info

Art Setup Fee - $65 - This includes one Shutterstock image and editing. Any additional stock photos will incur a $15 fee.
Custom Design Services - $150 deposit required - For the client who needs custom design help creating their vision. Includes 3 Shutterstock images. 
The Custom Art Fee will include up to 2 custom flag designs per art fee.
First version and 2 revisions are included in both the base art setup fee and custom design services. After 2 revisions another art fee will be charged.

You may design your own artwork or let our team of artists help you.

When supplying the artwork, you are responsible for purchasing, downloading and supplying high-resolution images to Propvinyls.

Please see some tips below.

  • Images can be layered on top of each other, faded, color changed, text added, etc.
  • Email Propvinyls the Shutterstock image #('s) and we will download the high res file(s).
Note:

- Shutterstock images that state "Editorial Use Only" cannot be used.
- Using the Shutterstock “Edit” tool will result in lower resolution images.
- Avoiding black/dark images and images that lack design clarity is recommended.

Images saved or copied from Internet “Google search” will not reproduce and cannot be used.
Art File Guidelines (if using your own artist to create files):
  • Adobe Creative Cloud applications are supported: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign. Non-professional design files are not supported: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Vector files are recommended: .ai, .eps, .pdf
  • Linked images should be embedded or provided with a file. Fonts must be converted to outlines.
  • Raster files should be sent as .psd, .tiff, or .jpg file types.
  • For best color results, leave the file in native color mode (do not convert to CMYK).

Flags: 300 dpi files at 60” wide. Completed files must be sent as a .tiff, .jpg, Illustrator, or Vector .pdf. If Illustrator files, select option to preserve Illustrator editing capabilities.

Floor Tarps:
Raster 1/12th scale, 1” = 1’ at 300dpi in RGB
Vector 1/12th scale, 1” = 1’ in RGB

Prop Prints:
Raster 1:1 scale, 1” = 1" at 150dpi in RGB
Vector 1:1 scale, 1” = 1" in RGB

Proofing:

PDF proofs will be emailed within 2-3 business days.

We recommend using a desktop or laptop computer to view/approve proofs vs. a mobile device. Colors may vary between devices. It is understood that colors seen on mobile devices and computer monitors are RGB. All printing presses use CMYK inks, so colors may not be as vibrant on actual prints as they appear on electronic proofs.

Propvinyls will not be responsible for color-matching. PROPvinyls ensures accuracy of color within a 10% range of press proof. Press proofs for Vinyl Props will incur a $30 fee if requested. Press proofs for Floors are required and included in the price.

Copyright: Customers assume all Copyright responsibility when supplying their own art files for printing.

Official School/Group Colors –

Your administration or athletic department should have this information as well as high- resolution logo/mascot images.

We will need written consent from either your principal, dean or athletic department to allow us to print your logo.

Note – Neon, metallic and dayglo color #’s over 800 will not work with CMYK printing.

Any images or likeness that are trademarked will not be allowed to print.
